TAKE ACTION NOW: Make your voice heard.
May is Older Americans Month (OAM), a national celebration established in 1963 to acknowledge the contributions of past and current older persons to our country, in particular those who defended the nation. Here at Heritage, we celebrate and honor older adults and all their contributions every day as we live our mission to promote Hope, Dignity, and Purposeful Living.
Even as our compassionate and trained staff are dedicated to helping our residents thrive, too many older adults and their families face difficulties finding services or support that exactly match their needs. Our federal lawmakers need to hear from us with a plea for them to take action immediately to expand access to care and services for all seniors.
To learn more about these issues and contact your representatives to let them know you oppose Medicare payment cuts AND support expanded funding for older Americans.
Please contact Sallie Williams, Vice President of Advancement at advocacy@heritage1886.org for more information or to share your concerns.
